    Cecilia was the perfect server. She brought out our food quickly and made us feel very welcomed. She made sure to bring us everything we needed without us even having to ask her! The food was great and so was her service! Definitely going to come back and sit in her section! High key recommend sitting in her section! You won’t be disappointed!

    Every bartender is extremely nice to me but I usually sit at the main bar and Zane always takes care of me. I walk in and he already has a glass on the tap pouring my beer. Usually the glass hits the bar as soon as my butt hits the chair. Great service!!!!

    Food is not that great. I do like their crawfish when in season. Drink specials are good. Nice place for a super duper casual date. Service outside can be a little slow but overall I love coming here especially during football season

    Sam's Boat on Richmond has always been a favorite of mine... we go back 20+ years now. I recently met friends there and not much has changed; I love that! We started at the bar where Zane served us... he made great drinks and was very attentive & entertaining, while dressed as a crawfish! Love it when people can have fun and be themselves... Great Spirit, Food and Drinks! Then off to the huge outside patio where the bands play at night. We had a great time singing and dancing just like back in the day... thank you Sam's Boat for the relaxing environment, great staff & good times!

    I used to hang (code for drink like a fish) here back 100 yrs ago in my college days. I am happy to report that Sam’s is still here and the food is way better than I remember (maybe because I drank my meals back then). Everything came out hot and delicious. Def try the gumbo. My server Sara was great, checking up on me regularly, and quickly getting me my check when it was time to go.
